有关时间、上门服务和预约A separate frozen specimen is required for the PhenoSense GT® Plus Integrase portion of the test. A frozen sample is preferred for the viral load assay, but the sample is also stable at room temperature for one day or refrigerated for five days. Freeze the specimen for long-term storage.
20 - 26 days
Turnaround time is defined as the usual number of days from the date of pickup of a specimen for testing to when the result is released to the ordering provider. In some cases, additional time should be allowed for additional confirmatory or additional reflex tests. Testing schedules may vary.

HIV-1 Lifecycle, Drugs, and Susceptibility Assays
Plasma, frozen
6 mL
4 mL (Note: This volume does not allow for repeat testing.)
Ship in two or more screw-cap polypropylene frozen transport tubes
Collect specimen in three lavender-top (EDTA) tubes or three PPT™ tubes. Do not use green-top (heparin) tubes. Centrifuge specimen within six hours of collection. Remove plasma, transfer plasma to screw-cap polypropylene transport tubes (not "pop-top" or "snap-cap"), and freeze. Ship frozen (preferred). Do not ship frozen in PPT™. If PPT™ is used to collect plasma, specimen must be transferred to a screw-cap tube prior to freezing to avoid false elevation of low viral load samples. To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, please submit separate frozen specimens for each test requested.
Freeze. Separate frozen sample required for the PhenoSense GT® portion of the test. A frozen sample is preferred for the viral load assay, but the specimen is also stable at room temperature for one day or refrigerated for five days. Freeze for long-term storage.
Hemolysis; green-top (heparin) tube; specimen received in "pop-top" or "snap-cap" tube; quantity not sufficient for analysis; frozen PPT™
Detect and quantitate HIV-1 in plasma with reflex to PhenoSense GT® Plus Integrase (at additional charge) if viral load is >500 copies/mL.
Assay range: 20−10,000,000 copies/mL
