有关时间、上门服务和预约LOINC® (Logical Observation Identifiers Names and Codes) is a set of universal names and ID codes for identifying laboratory tests in electronic laboratory report messages. It was designed to facilitate the exchange and correlation of results for clinical care, outcomes management, and research. Currently, most laboratories and clinical services use HL7 to send laboratory results electronically from their reporting system (LIS) to the provider’s care system (EHR).
The tests in these messages, however, are usually identified by means of the laboratory’s internal (or local) code values. Certain EHR systems may not be set up to understand and/or equate the results received from multiple sources if the local codes are unique to each sender. The LOINC data base was developed to address this challenge by providing a standard vocabulary for the universal identification and description of laboratory tests for electronic messaging.
