Will Report Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2002 Results February 18th

BURLINGTON, N.C., Jan. 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Laboratory Corporation of America(R) Holdings (NYSE: LH) (LabCorp(R)) today announced that Thomas P. Mac Mahon, chairman and chief executive officer, is scheduled to speak at the US Bancorp Piper Jaffray Health Care Conference in New York on January 29, 2003 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. At the conference, the Company will reiterate its guidance for 2002 and 2003, as filed in an 8K on October 30, 2002. The Company also announced that its results for the fourth quarter and full year 2002 are scheduled to be released after markets close on February 18, 2003.
